D. Fytilis and D. A.  Pithis as a partnership company. In 1953 became one of the very few IATA member travel  agencies in Greece at that time. Today, the Managing Director of «ARGO Travel & Tourist  Bureau» is still Mr. Dimitrios A. Pithis, the latter of the founders. The headquarters of «ARGO» are located at heart of Athens, the Constitution Square. Besides its  headquarters in Athens, «ARGO»  has offices in Thessalonica, Geneva, London and recently in  Shanghai. As it can be realized from its year of establishment, «ARGO Travel & Tourist Bureau» this year is  celebrating its 61^st Anniversary. «ARGO» is also very proud for being one of the first Travel  Organizations in Greece that has rightfully acquired the ISO9001:2000 Quality Assurance  Certification from BVQI (Bureau Veritas) in 2001.
