Welcome message of the president of the CCBE © “ARGO” Congress Department 2013 Created by JNS Evangelos TSOUROULIS CCBE President 2013 Dear Friends, It is my great pleasure to extend to you all an invitation to our Plenary Session scheduled for  Friday 17^th and Saturday 18^th May 2013 at the Kavouri seaside resort in Athens, Greece.  This will be preceded by a Seminar on Human Rights on Thursday 16th May 2013, the aim of which is to  examine the true role of the lawyer in this most important field of our practice and to  strengthen our already close ties with the European Court of Human Rights. I sincerely hope that apart from your active and constructive participation in the Plenary  Session and Seminar, you will take the opportunity to spend some extra time discovering the  city of Athens, getting to know both her ancient sites and monuments, which mark the birth of  our European civilization, as well as the modern city with its cultural and musical highlights and  unique nightlife. Alternatively perhaps the chance to relax on a charming island keeping  company with blue skies and friendly seas will prove to be the greater temptation.  The choice  is yours, be it tranquility or action or (for those more energetic) both!  Whatever you decide,  traditional Greek hospitality awaits you.
